Shaking the System: How leaders can get in good trouble and change things for good
Across the world, founders, CEOs, investors, and social leaders are feeling the call to, as John Lewis said, “get in good trouble”. From developing products and services that serve humanity to directly challenging systemic injustices, leaders are shaking institutions and industries.
In this soul-stirring and thought-provoking session, life-long activist, mindset coach, and systemic leadership expert, Dr. Virginia Lacayo, will guide you through the internal and external challenges faced by those called to lead differently, misconceptions about power and control, and how to lead with what she calls an “Indomable” mind. She will share how a mastered mind helps you become the kind of intentional leader the world needs right now: more empathetic, visionary, resilient, and wise.
Using provocative real-world stories and research, Dr. Lacayo will leave participants with the following insights:
- How ego can destroy even the best ideas
- New expectations and a new definition of “doing the right thing”
- Insights on how to challenge our own thinking to prevent self-sabotage
- Awareness of how our biggest fears are used to control us
- Encouragement to pursue deeper meaning and purpose as a leader”

Soccer is a global language uniting countries with diverse backgrounds and cultures, promoting unity and understanding. From local leagues to international tournaments, the sport serves as a common ground where cultural exchange and mutual respect flourish, helping to bridge social divides. Come with us and explore what it means to use your own story to become an everyday changemaker through the remarkable story of Mayele Jules Murhula, the Director of Soccer Without Borders Uganda who used his refugee experience and passion for soccer to uplift young people, empower women, and change the world around him by supporting other young people like him to better understand that becoming a refugee does not need to be the end of life. It can also be an opportunity for a wonderful new beginning.

The Second Green Revolution
& Artificial Intelligence
All consumers have seen the rising prices in supermarkets and heard reports of loss of nutrients in fruits and vegetables and food shortages expanding around the world if we do not change the way we produce our food. According to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the world may only have 60 harvests left before the Earth’s soil becomes too barren to feed the planet due to soil degradation.
To counteract this grim future, seeds of hope have begun to sprout about The Second Green Revolution where food sovereignty returns to center stage with a new technological lift using artificial intelligence (AI) to get to the root of food deserts by incorporating data into sustainable agricultural production.
This session will get to the heart of the changemaker movement by connecting us back to the foundation of our being and our food source. You will learn how to garden to provide rich nutrient-dense food for you and your family to enable a brighter and sustainable future for the planet.
